Bird Builder®
A natural trace mineral and iodine supplement

• Supplements trace minerals and iodine missing from a seed diet
• Contains 52 naturally-occurring trace minerals

Sunshine Factor®
Certified organic red palm fruit oil

• May benefit the animal’s skin, eyes, heart and immune system by strengthening the overall nutritional status
• May improve the animal’s energy level, particularly in geriatric patients
• Beneficial for all aspects of the skin and coat/plumage, including dry skin and brittle or dull hair or feathers
• Has a high antioxidant content (tocopherol and tocotrienol activity of vitamin E) and high carotenoid content (precursor to vitamin A)
• Contains a good balance of fatty acids
• May improve the effectiveness of nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs

• Sunshine Factor is semisolid at room temperature. To liquefy, float bottle in warm water (80°F/27°C) for a few minutes.
• Mix 1 tsp (5 ml) liquefied Sunshine Factor with 1 lb (455 g) of the animal’s consumable food in a bowl and then return to original bag for storage; feed normally.
• Alternatively, administer orally 0.02-0.06 ml per 100 grams of the animal’s body weight daily (see table for sample dosage amounts on reverse side).

Booster®
Dietary supplement

• May help eliminate recurrent infections without the use of antibiotics or steroids; also works well in conjunction with antibiotic protocols
• May benefit the animal’s integument, ocular, cardiac and immune systems by strengthening the overall nutritional status
• May support healing of conditions affecting the plumage and skin, such as dermatitis or feather-picking
• Has a high antioxidant content (tocopherol and tocotrienol activity of vitamin E) and high carotenoid content (precursor to vitamin A)
• Contains a good balance of fatty acids
• May improve the effectiveness of nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs
• May contribute to decreased risk of chronic diseases
• Is a vegetable oil that is more stable than flax oil

• Booster is semisolid at room temperature. To liquefy, float bottle in hot water (110°F [43°C]) for a few minutes.
• Mix 1 tsp (5 ml) liquefied Booster with 1 lb (455 g) of the animal’s consumable food in a bowl and return to original bag for storage; feed normally.
• Alternatively, administer orally 0.02-0.06 ml per 100 grams of the animal’s body weight daily (see table for sample dosage amounts on reverse side).
• Continue use until normal body immune function is achieved or as directed by your veterinarian.

Soother®
Topical ointment

 

• May provide pain relief for bruises, trauma, muscle cramps, post-
surgical incisions and self-inflicted wounds
• May effectively manage swelling and inflammation
• Apply a light layer topically with a cotton-
tipped applicator and massage into affected area. Discontinue use if redness or irritation occurs. Several treatments per day may be required to manage pain.

Soother®
Topical spray

• May reduce superficial itching and provide soothing topical relief for
skin inflammation and irritation
• May promote healing of sensitive skin and superficial lesions often noted in early self-mutilation cases
• Employs transdermal technology for efficacy of topical application
• Hold several inches from the affected area and apply a fine mist to irritated area.
• Spray animal several times a day or as directed by your veterinarian.
• Discontinue use if redness or irritation occurs.
• Thoroughly bathe animal weekly during treatment to avoid buildup.
• Soother Spray is most beneficial when used in conjunction with Booster.

Soother Plus®
Topical cream

manage pain.

Tyrode’s Solution
Oral supplement,
a balanced isotonic electrolyte

• Restores renal medullary gradient in cases of polyuria and polydipsia and dehydrated animals
• Add entire contents of envelope to 1 quart (approximately 1 L) bottled drinking water.
• Use as the animal’s only source of drinking water for 4 days.
• Improvement should be noted within 4 days.
• Discard any remaining solution.

Echinacea
(alcohol-free)
Oral supplement

• Benefits may include immune stimulation and antiviral/antibacterial activity • Administer 0.03 ml/100 g PO q12h.
• Should be used only for 2-3 weeks.

Goldenseal
(alcohol-free)
Oral supplement

• Benefits may include immune stimulation and antiviral/antibacterial activity

• Administer 0.03 ml/100 g PO q12h.
• Should be used only short-term (less than 5 days), but can be followed with echinacea or olive leaf for longer immune support.

Milk Thistle
(alcohol-free)
Oral supplement

• Benefits may include supporting and protecting the liver and helping restore liver health following damage due to cirrhosis, hepatitis, toxicosis or fatty liver disease
• Also serves as an antioxidant
• Administer 0.03 ml/100 g PO q12h.
• Can be administered with lactulose.
• Can be safely used for months.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Oral supplement

• May help restore normal intestinal flora
• Beneficial following antibiotic protocols
• May control many gastrointestinal gram-negative bacterial and yeast disorders without medications in asymptomatic animals
• Contains pectin, enzymes and nutritionally valuable natural protein strands formed by beneficial bacteria called “mother”
• Add 1 Tbsp (15 ml) apple cider vinegar to 1 quart (approximately 1 L) bottled drinking water (not distilled or spring water).
• Use as the animal’s only source of water for 10-14 days.
• If the animal does not immediately drink the mixture, you can try diluting it with more water for 2-3 days and then return proportions to the recommended level.
• Fecal Gram stain should be rechecked after 10-14 days.
